Food vendors & crafters,  HOT AIR BALLOON in the late
afternoon for tethered rides (wind/weather permitting) and a
fabulous BALLOON GLOW in the early evening!

4th Annual "Grillin' with Iowa Wines"
Western Iowa Wine Trail event – each winery will pair their Iowa
made wines with samples of grilled foods.

setting, amidst the cedar trees and wildlife.  Our shaded deck leads to the 6-acre vineyard that
boasts a beautiful valley view.  Inside our tasting room you will discover our relaxed and
approachable winery personality and style. We offer complimentary tastings of our handcrafted
wines and invite you to stay awhile to take in a true Loess Hills Wine Country experience!

Oh what fun we and our 30 guests
had at the Sugar Clay
Wine-Blending Party on February
23rd!   6 different Sugar Clay Wines
were available for our guests to
experiment with in terms of blending
them and coming up with their very
own favorite blend.  
We saw several unique
combinations like
Cynthiana-Concord-Bandana Red or
Edelweiss-Faust Haus Rosa or
Grasshopper Hill-Concord.  
Participants then funneled their wine
into a bottle, corked & capsuled
their bottle and finished it off with a
handmade label!
The bottles were lined up at the bar for an impressive Label contest! After
everyone cast their vote, 3 winners were selected & prizes were given awarded.  
We want to thank everyone who turned out for such a great evening! Check back
for more pictures....we'll do this blending event again!
